Measuring Return on People
One of the key objectives of connecting strategy with action is to improve your Return on People. In order to improve ROP you need first to be able to measure it.
To measure ROP you need to measure three types of things. The people and their base of experience, the activities in which you engage to improve those people, and the results that those people generate. These are best shown in the following infographic.
As you start your journey to improve ROP, start first by measuring these variables. On a periodic basis you should be measuring them again to see if the work you’re doing is improving your ROP.
