What We Do

We take on a fractional role to implement strategies that will enable your firm to grow efficiently. This includes helping you figure out strategy and in particular, how to go to market, develop a team, raise capital, and operate efficiently. 

Strategic Planning

Our first objective is to work with founders to examine and enhance the company’s strategy. We look at how a company can improve its customer positioning by adding product functionality to reflect customer needs along the whole customer journey and enhance competitive positioning. We also work to enhance other aspects of the business including the company’s go-to-market strategy. 

Building a Team

We help identify the resources you will require and recruit them into your organization. We also work to coach leaders and their teams and to develop human resource policies and procedures.

Go to Market

We take responsibility for figuring out your market and customer to determine their needs. We work to develop content drive lead generation and help figure out how to close and maintain clients.

Operations

We set your organization up for success by figuring out how to make your clients successful and operate in an efficient manner.

Fundraising

We help you develop a pitch deck and financial forecasts, improve reporting and analysis and position yourself to potential investors. We help you look for equity investors, loans and grants.

Who We Work With

We are looking to work with technology entrepreneurs  in software, managed services and tech enabled services as well as med-tech and clean technologies. 

Team

We are looking for an entrepreneur or team of founders that has passion for their market, their products, has some client traction and some capital but has gaps in their management team that can be filled by fractional executives. 

Technology

We evaluate the product offering against the competition along all dimensions of the customer journey to identify competitive positioning strengths and weaknesses. We also look for how that technology can be protected against competition. 

TAM – Total Addressable Market

While we look for big markets, we typically don’t find that in companies we meet. Instead, we look instead for opportunities to enhance the company’s strategy so that larger markets can be served.

Traction

Yes, everybody is looking for traction as this is the one thing that helps answer the question as to whether the team can execute and the technology can beat the competition. Traction is almost always required to obtain financing but can be evidenced in a number of ways.
